CM Vijay announces Rs 11,000-crore urban infrastructure push

Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay has unveiled an ambitious Rs 11,000-crore initiative aimed at enhancing urban infrastructure across Tamil Nadu. The focus includes vital improvements in water supply systems, sewerage facilities, and road networks. Substantial investments will be made in desalination and upgrading water treatment plants, alongside initiatives in urban mobility and waste management, all designed to support the region's growing population and urbanization demands.
