Kareena Thapa risked her life to save over 70 families from fire; later she earned national honour

Kareena Thapa displayed remarkable courage during a fire in Amravati. She bravely moved a gas cylinder away from the spreading flames. Her quick thinking helped prevent a more serious disaster at the apartment complex. This act of bravery led to her receiving the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar. President Droupadi Murmu presented the prestigious award to Kareena in December 2024.
